What is literature ?
According to me literature is some form of text in any form like audio-visual , cinema, book, short-story , novel and etc. At B.A level , in the first sem, we studied the short-story note of what is literature. Anyform of art can be considered as literature. Literature is way of life. At B.A level I believed that literature only gives us moral lesson. When I am in contact with literature during M.A studies I came to know more about literature. Our first M.A english literature class is about What is literature? that gives me various ideas about what is literature. During these two year journey of literature I came to know that literature is positive attitude towards life as well as negative attitude.
Literature mirrors to the society - according to me it quite appropriate sentence . Because Literature gives you inverted picture of society as mirror works.
Literature is x- ray image of society- according to my view it penetrate deeply within us. Literature gives you skeleton image of society. Literature gives deep image of society. Literature reveals darkness of society.
